About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager for a high-tech company in Uppsala, operating in the fields of medical technology, research, and industry. In this role, you will be responsible for customer-specific system deliveries from requirements and contracts to approved delivery, as well as contributing to the development of project models and working methods.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading technical customer projects from start to delivery

• Being responsible for planning, follow-up, finance, risk, and resources

• Being the main contact person for the customer

• Leading project meetings and managing decisions, changes, and reporting

• Monitoring time, quality, finance, and KPIs

Qualifications

In this role, we would like you to have the following:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field

• 3–5 years of experience in technical project management or technical leadership roles

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in customer order-driven production and customer-specific system deliveries

Personality You are a confident and structured project manager with a solution-oriented approach and thrive in collaboration between technology, business, and people. You are communicative, unpretentious, and create clarity and engagement even in complex projects.

You have experience working with requirements, contracts, delivery terms, and change management, as well as structured project planning, follow-up, and reporting. With a good technical understanding, you engage in constructive dialogues with specialists and adapt your working methods when circumstances change. Travel may be required in this role.

• Scope: Full-time, Mon – Fri

• Start: As soon as possible, considering the notice period

• Location: Uppsala

• This is initially a consulting assignment via The Place for about 6 months, with the plan to transition to employment with the client thereafter.
